Honest fool
I stand before you in my dream, bargaining for the life we could lead. You stay quiet - I hear my echo. I knew I should have let go. You close the distance, look into my eyes, only to tell me, that you can see through my lies. My hollow inside broke apart, pierced by the thorn aimed for the heart. Broken pieces scattered around, now there’s no me, to hold them bound, because only they knew, that I always stayed true.
