Homecoming
I step onto my bus Into a sour smell only described as thick It's encasing me once again I think I'm gonna be sick I called you stupid and annoying today I did, but even if I didn't apologize You'd forgive me anyway It's a minute darker each morning A degree or so colder This ache in my knees is one of the many things That tells me I'm only getting older I'm pretty sure I bombed my math quiz And I'm dressing up as a senior For "dress like your type" I don't think he even knows what my name is This guy in my 7th period keeps touching me His girlfriend cheated on him yesterday Today I met a kid selling LSD He's only thirteen
