home or homeless
I made you my home a home where the love of mine for you grew and roamed which unexpectedly grew spikelets which sharp edges reminded me of the cost I kept searching you through the spikelets as they kept growing but I never got to find you and the spikelets were all that remained blowing once the heart that I made my house was gone as the spikelets mocked me with their bloom their beauty cruel but their touch a burn I reach for what is no longer there as you left me homeless here....
