Home
It was an eerily darkened day late up in the year. The shadows were so long and deep, my house stood dark and drear. As I went out to exercise, I ran past the gates of paradise and, too late, I realized, I had approached the road to hell. As I breathed the heated air, I somehow sensed I knew that sulphuric odor well. The fear of hell was there, but, strange, how I felt so much at home. And, I didn't feel too lonely; nor did I feel alone. The atmosphere was murky and I couldn't see that well, But there were a multitude of people waiting for a place in hell. I thought I saw the devil, but, I can't say for sure, because I was moving pretty fast to get away from there. It seemed like it took forever, but I got back home at last.
