Have you read the news today? Problems, Crisis, Obituaries, Dear Abby Seemingly I woke this morning indifferent to social beliefs or criticisms before I read holy smoke I read the news today Looking through my purse I'm out dammit I'm supposed to have quit anyway desperately looking at the bottom of the bag as if a smoke fairy had left me a surprise Nothing Dammit so I look around I'm sitting in a lawn chair out back listening to the birds chirp we're here we're here they chirp thinking to myself where where did you hide all the shorts I wasted last week we're here we're here they chirp again I look I don't see more butts lieung around we're here Then I see it under the BBQ I grab it thinking who's dirty mouth has been wrapped around this stale holy moly I light it Puff Puff as if I were the magic dragon all the old news passing through my mind Puff Puff some things have to go through the smoke my mind your opinion their news for me just the last holy smoke before I quit no joke by Susan fisher
