Hollow Man
Felling half dead, Yet within my half-life I'm thriving , As I gaze, Into the fire of the streetlights, Depressingly aware, Of the dark corners all around me, I do have a glow, Possibly my spark of divinity, But that piece of me, To say it's divine, Is lost within, The Hollow Man inside me, How can I fell lost, When others seem to confide, In my shine, Empathy is a struggle, Possibly a soul missing, That something or someone, Emptying out myself, Bleeding out all the pain, That was felt, In the high vibes, Of my casted circle, Is where I choose to dwell, Follow no man's path, Only one conjured by you, Trust in your shadow, For it is a silhouette of you, Tread through, The ethers of time, And you'll find, That time hails, From an untruth, Know that all just is, And just be, Thrive in the simple, While seeing through, Material fallacies, I'm a the Hollow Man, Fall of compassion inside, In dark moments, Is where I hide!
