Hollow Heart
This hollow heart of mine is begging to be filled, With memories of love that I thought were real, But now I stand here all alone, on this cold and dark night, Wondering where it all went wrong, in this never-ending fight. I remember the days when our love was pure and bright, When every touch and kiss felt like a ray of light, But now those memories feel like they belong to someone else, And I'm left with a broken heart and a pain that won't melt. I tried to hold on tight, to the love that we had, But you slipped away from me, leaving me feeling sad, And now I'm standing here, with nothing but the pain, Wishing that I could turn back time, and start it all again. I gave you my all, but it was never enough, You took my heart, and you crushed it into rough, Wondering if love is just a game, played by the insane. This hollow heart of mine is begging to be filled, With the love that I once had, and the love that was killed, But I know that I'll never find it again, And I'll be left with this emptiness, till the very end.
