Some turn faith into a throne Crowns forged from guilt, robs stitched from the silence of those taught to never question. They preach humility while drinking power like wine, their smiles dripping with sermons Meant to keep others small. And then there's the saints of convenience- claiming God's fingerprints on every triumph they didn't earn, To justify every selfish victories and sanctify their pride For faith, once gentle, can sour into toxin When wielded by those who crave control more than hope The God they speak of is no deity at all- Just a shadow they hide behind when cruelty is theirs but the blame is not 🦋🦋🦋
