Hollow
Am I hollow? No, I am not, Though doubts may linger, I have a heart, a tender spot. Like you, it beats within my chest, Yet mine, weary and perplexed, finds no rest. A heart, worn by the trials it has faced, Tangled in the labyrinth of emotions, misplaced. Confusion dances within its depths, Seeking solace, yearning for clarity's breath. But amidst the weariness and the muddled thoughts, A flicker of resilience, a strength that can't be bought. For within the labyrinth, a spark remains, A glimmer of hope that carries the strains. Yes, my heart may be tired, and often confused, Yet it still beats, refusing to be bruised. For within its chambers, a resilience resides, A testament to the strength it hides. So, am I hollow? No, I am not, For within me, a heart beats, a flame that cannot be forgot. Though tired and confused, it carries on, Embracing the journey, until clarity is won.
