Hollow
Breathtaking illusions. Like souls who've received hell's diabolical sentence. They walk amongst us freely, living rent-free and concealing their identities. No conclusions nor final partings, These receive none of heaven's pardons. Amongst all, there exist one so alluring, So gorgeous, she appeared like she was one with the sun. There I lay, sunken in my despair, She extended her hand and a new story we formed. Taken aback by this epic event. I let my mind flutter, Researching truths too painful to comprehend. I never understood the gravity of evil"s might- until I had my heart ripped in two. A new vow, I made, None shall I watch perish. Fulfilling my knightly demands, I stand chivalrous. Pain isn't easily erased from a hollowed heart, Neither can one stay sane witnessing a comrade's fall. Left helplessly to sit and watch; I see my beloved taken away. On a hazy and cold night, With raindrops for my bed and thunder for my pillows. Tears welled up in my eyes- Tears I've stored via relentless sleep overs with strength. And in the moment of my trepidations, I felt a door opened and hope's illuminating ray burst forth. Time stood still for moments as I re enacted my being with unsullied truths. Could anyone tell me if eternity got a vacuum? Cause I sank in deep, yet I swim like the waters are shallow. Remembering the days of war, I chant a mantra. " We shall neither break, fold or admit defeat." Shame can never be erased once stuck like a stigma, especially on a heart which takes on a cold sleep. And pain is a supplement for the disciplined. Through thorough focus achievements are made. Yet confessions are made to the grim reaper"s spiteful grin. A hollow is a hallowed, A purgatorial purge for the dearly Damned. Thank you Jay
