Hole
I feel hungry Not the kind one feels for food. The kind one feels for loss. Like a cavity forming inside your heart. Instead of your stomach. I feel my heart balancing on a tightrope. I feel my heartstrings being pulled when I hear, The yelling The screaming The wronging The arguing. My Love I know of what I have done and I am so terribly sorry. I never meant to wrong you. I never meant to hurt you. I never meant to make you angry. But I did cause it. It was my own reckoning. The tightest pull on these strings of mine, are the ones where the puppeteer, is none other than myself. A blade being forced into my heart, with my hand behind the handle. A gun pointed at my soul, with my hand tensed on the grip. I am my own undoing My Love. I only hope that I don't drag you with me, Down into this hole of mine.
