Holding Space Within💭

The one felt as if it could float On the clouds up above, Levitating even to the heavens it would seem, As its mood was elevated, Relieved to not feel the past stress, The past feeling of overwhelm. As it lay looking up at the sun, The one allowed itself to feel once again, Unapologetically, with no judgement, In the safety of being by itself, For itself, Not needing to create irritability from it all, Not needing validation Nor input from anyone below. The one felt good for now, Though deep in its chest it still felt The soreness of its own heart, The sadness within the depth of its soul, Yet it has always felt that way for some time now. As it reflected on its feelings, Emotions, and current mood, The one couldn't help but to smile As the warmth of the nearby sun Took its toll on its skin, within its being. It felt free for a little moment in time, Relishing in the present, Leaving the past behind itself, Allowing for itself to just pause and feel, A beautiful way to hold space within.
