Holding On
The hoodie I wear still carries your fragrance, Even though fate has widened the distance. I call out your name when I'm on cloud nine, Only to hear back the hollow echoes of mine. I still water the plants you once cherished, Yet after your demise, their charm has perished. Long rides with you , your arms holding me near , Now every lonely rides makes me wish you were here . The stars in the sky seem shinier than ever, As if your presence among them has made them finer forever. I still long for the warmth of your care, And till my last breath, you'll remain in my prayer.
