Holding on
When I hold you close to me. I feel safe. My fear is letting go. You can be the best of me. But they are a big piece of you. That you won't let go. Wondering where can I go with all this feeling. I am holding on to us. But you have to show me any action just broke promises. Wondering what to do? Hold on tight or let go. But I see what can be between us. They are a chapter in my life. I have to wait through it. Ready or not, I still move to big things in my life. You can say I start fresh. But you won't take that step. Fear is holding back. So you can be the man I need. But what I feel is real. But you have not taken that step. I don't want you to hold me. I will tell you, hold my hand. We take that step forward with me. That when is life begins. I will make me hold you right. I won't let go. Because you show me that you will climb mountains to prove you love me. Then I can look in your eye and tell you I won't let go.
