Hold me
When I lay down next to you, I put my arm around you. I bring you close to me—that moment, you gave me your all. But when I turned around. You don't reach out to me. Once again, I turned around just to get some kind of comfort from you. When I hold you, I feel the love in you. But I wanted to feel the same. Hold me so I can feel safe in your arms. Just the way you feel safe when I hold you. Turn around and show me the love in you. Let me feel the same passion I gave you. Just by you having me, I can feel safe in your arms. But you won't hold me. So I take my pillow and grab it. Hold it close to me. So I can feel something because you keep me when you feel nothing. I can feel it right through you. So I put my arm around my body. I keep myself safe. So I can protect myself from you. I will save my heart. You will never hold me like you did in the beginning. Now, I am here holding myself.
