hmmm
There is this girl, my friend. I met her when I started this new university in January. I am genuinely glad I met someone like her. At first, I did not know if I could call her a friend. Normally, I do not call someone my friend unless they call me one first. That is because I often feel like I have not done enough to deserve that title. But Sharon is different. She embodies the very concept of friendship. She is kind, generous, joyful, helpful, humble, and selfless. She has this refreshing realism about her, expressing her energy so freely, saying things like “amazeballs” and “slay queen.” She always wants to help people, and she genuinely treats everyone not just as a friend, but as a best friend. So much so that one day, she told me I was her best friend. I told her that I did not want to be her best friend unless she was only my best friend and not anyone else’s. And honestly, that says a lot about who she is. She is the kind of person whose friendship feels so special that you almost want to keep it just for yourself. Not out of selfishness, but because having someone like her in your life feels like a blessing.
