His love
I was lost hoping to be found. Desperate for a hand even a frayed thread of light. It was hole, sucking, clawing me in, Until I gave up. Only you didn't. You saw, you listened. You were with me even In the dark. Ashamed I was For I pushed You away. I ran from You Even stabbed You in the heart. My tears were not of sorrow But of shame. For how could You want me back when I'm nothing but pain. Yet Your banner over me Was love. A love deeper than the oceans Blinding even the sun. A love so pure Definitely unfathomable By my wicked human heart For there is no logic In this love That gives and gives And still gives. This love of the creator that transcends all dimensions I'm a sinner And will be too. And His love sparkles for my gathering clouds.
