High Enough
We walked up all the stairs tonight, To find the window with the brightest light. The ground is far away and small, There is no reason now to fear the fall. The city lights are glowing dim, Like tiny stars along the rim. The things that scared us on the street, Are lying quiet at our feet. You ask me why we're at this height, In the middle of the quiet night? So you can see that if you climb high enough, Even a nightmare can look like a dream.
