Hide and Seek

As kids we ran behind each other; Wondering where'd you go I'd follow, and you'd do the same for me. We drifted apart over the years, but as friends I believed you'd look or me. In my solitude no one seeked me out, to which I wished to hide myself forever. You've grown up quite well and you hadn't forgotten have you? For you never gave up on your search. How time flies by from those fleeting moments, how you seek for me but I'm forever out of sight. Hidden away in dirt and soil, returning to Mother Earth who had bore me, for I believed you had stopped looking.
