A root that once held me firm and strong Now, wither away The petals of joy and peace where they belong I find myself clutching in Death colds arms Besides, it's life I could easily end it with a knife I was blinded by anxiety But then realised All they want to see Is the downfall of me So, i still kept on living even though I felt dead At this point in my life I was nothing more like an opaque glass oblivious of its mass I buried these truth in a box I searched for salvage to unbox But then Like a fire that sparks in the mist of darkness Hope dawned on me From an unexpected light The hidden truth revealed itself slowly What I never thought would be made holy Finally My silence was broken My voice awoken, my truth spoken The root of my distinguished trauma is now uprooted To be left behind In the past The burden that weighed upon my soul is uplifted I'm free and made whole A new life unfolds What I thought would never be found A stranger Recovered it from the lost, but found
