Hidden Battles
Depression, a dark and heavy cloud, Weighs upon the soul, whispers loud. Sinking deep, it grips like a shroud, Stealing happiness, leaving us bowed. Invisible chains, we cannot break free, Loneliness, a constant companion, we see. Tears fall like raindrops, we beg, "Let me be!" But the darkness persists, no solace to plea. Lost in a maze, a never-ending fight, Hope seems distant, like stars in the night. Yet within, a flicker, a tiny light, Guiding us forward, with all of our might. Reach out for support, don't bear it alone, Open up, let your feelings be known. For in unity, strength has shown, Together we rise, no longer on our own. Depression, a battle, we can overcome, With love and compassion, we'll find a new home. So let's stand together, face the unknown, For beneath the shadows, our true selves will be shown.
