Hesitation
Can I call you mine, my paramour, Can we drink wine, my grace, May I look at you all the time, And wake up seeing your beautiful face. Can we see the sunset together, Can I share my life with you, Can I feel your passionate love, Because you are the dream I want to pursue. Can I be in your warm embrace, When I am tired and want to rest, Can we walk hand in hand, So, I can say that you are the best. Can I say that I love you sunshine, Can I cry that I want to be in your arms, As that's my only wish for this life, As I only see you in this world of charms. I want to ask you for your permission, But hesitant as your standards are fine, I fear I am not the one you want, Maybe in another life, you will be mine.
