Her Superman
Black balloons, needles and spoons- Down a long corridor of pain- She takes a drawl of a cigarette, Before shooting euphoria into her veins. Pain has become her kryptonite, And drugs her only escape- She claims they are her super man, Though heroically, wearing no cape. As she eases through her pain, She catches her desired high, She says it takes her pain away, And allows her broken wings to fly.
