Her Smile, My Grace
Love never rewarded me with her embrace, yet her smile still lingers—my saving grace. I drown in memories, shadows of her face, my heart a broken record, trapped in place. I gave her my nights, my blood, my fight, she left me a silence, no arms to hold tight. Her “forevers” faded, a fragile disguise, I built my world on her beautiful lies. Now silence listens, storms rage in my chest, love was a battlefield—I gave it my best. She walked away, left me hollow inside, still I crave her smile though a part of me died. But pain turned to verses, truth shaped in tone, I stand with the rhythm though I walk alone. Love did not choose me, but it left me this trace: her smile—my sorrow, my strength, my grace.
