HER
For what seemed like an eternity, she laid her eyes on me, her cloudless sky-blue eyes, embellished by the full rays of the moon, and there I saw her, I saw a future with her, I saw us walking hand in hand in the overwhelming silence, I saw her dark silky hair rest on my shoulder, I felt her perfume intoxicate me like roses in spring, I saw her smile make me forget my loneliness, I heard her voice soothe my pain. But the return to reality is always so brutal, so I sit on full moon nights with my eyes riveted on that star, thinking back to that warmest of moments.
