Her
She walked like a verse the wind had memorized, With a laugh that danced through my guarded skies. Eyes like secrets I once called home, They are now just stories I tell when I’m alone. Her smile? Aaw couldn’t describe, It could calm a war I waged inside, Soft as a lie I wanted to believe, Sharp as the truth that made leave. Hair like nightfall, smooth and bold, Fingers that painted warmth on cold, She wore silence like it was silk, And her voice, like honey spilled in milk, She was a yapper with hint😂 She was a rose I held too tight, Bled for love, then lost to flight, But still, in echoes of midnight air, I swear her beauty lingers there, Not mine, not now, just a ghost in a song, A beautiful wrong I hummed too long.
