HER.
I've seen her toil through the hardest, Under the scorching sun, made strides, With a basket of ripe banana on her head, She wiped rivers of sweat, with blistered palms, And bare feet on hot earth, with her behind, Unforgettably doing the swap. I've seen her, embrace those around her, With love, she's shared her world, I saw her clean noses of adorable little humans, Owing to the act of love and generosity, Fairness and kindness acquainted to her, And phenomenal ability to mother the world. I've seen her carry her responsibility, In the tender care of her hands, she has, Woven mats and carpets to her strength, To sit and lay her legacy to firmness, I've seen her shed red rivers every month, And yet never frightened by blood. I've seen her fight through storms of hails, Mattering not the strength of it, She stood her ground, feet swore not to fall, I've seen her face of beauty in truth, Embroidered with scars of battles she's won, She is woman.
