HELPLESS
Helpless We tried rummaging through the past searching for an answer but soon pushing it away Trying to take it back but remembering that The present got in the way. It wasn't horrific Like the other one But close enough to where I missed the touch of the darkness of the other side of the room. Forever ago we couldn't learn how to speak We couldn't pout it out onto white sheets or dotted lines For a small eternity, that I feel so hard, then you got caught in the wishes only I could see Since they were so quick they only cut me.
