Help me.
As days wane, I find my mind's decay, Each sunrise brings a heavier weight. Though inwardly I fray, I portray A facade of cheer, a guise of light, Bound by duty, burdened by plight. Alone, within my chamber's embrace, I weep in shadows, veiled from grace. When queried of my well-being's trace, I smile and nod, a hollow face, Yearning for solace in this race. Yet, when others gaze upon my guise, I pray they pierce the mask, the lies, To glimpse the turmoil, the silent cries, And offer aid as daylight dies, To lift me from this darkened skies. But speech evades, emotions hide, Locked within, a turbulent tide. Misunderstood, my anguish denied, I long for empathy, a hand to guide, To break the chains that bind inside.
