Hello, monsoon. <3
June-November: You sauntered through those days scented with blossoms, memories lingering on the calendar's pages. Oh how you drown me in the deep blues of mourn, your letters petrichor the wet soil underneath the surface of my hazel eyes. I awaited your coming, longing for a fresh season of joy, but you rendered me wordless. You slipped away like sunlight fading from my dampened windows, yet in that hushed breath, amid the damp shadows, my laughter sparks with vitality, where my smiles kindle flames and I exhale shards of jewels and precious gems. December-May: Oh, how you envelop me in the deep blues of solitude, your whispers scent the parched earth beneath the surface of my hazel eyes. Each gentle breeze, a ghostly reminder of struggles fought in silence, cool and crisp like the cutting words that linger etched upon my waiting tongue, a mosaic of pain and resilience painted on the canvas of my wretched soul.
