Hello, June — Be Good to Me
Dear June, be gentle, I’ve had a ride, With hopes that dipped and dreams that tried. But I’m still here — heart full, eyes wide, Ready for blessings I won’t let slide. All my wishes? Yes, they must come true, The whispered ones, the loud ones too. The ones I pray with eyes closed tight, And the ones I dance with every night. I want joy that stays and doesn’t tease, Peace that tucks my soul with ease. Smiles I don’t have to fake or force, And love that finds me — real, of course. June, I want soft days, and louder wins, A fresh breath where the new month begins. More glow, less gloom. More light, less weight, Doors I’ve been knocking — open that gate. Bless the hustles, the heart, the grind, Bless the overthinker’s tired mind. Bless my name in rooms I’ve never seen, And let me walk bold where I’ve never been. So here’s to June — no stress, just grace, New miracles in every place. And if the world asks what I want to do... I'd smile and say It's June! All my wishes are coming true.
