Hell Hounds
Here I go again. The hell hounds are nipping at my heels. I run and run as fast as I can. But it's not enough to find my way out. They catch my ass every time. And even though I don't have a dime, I find a way to make it mine. For a moment in time, it's under control. But finding peace is something I don't know. For it's only a moment that I feel secure. But it's all a lie and misunderstood. So how do I crawl outta this place. God send me a sign. Show me a place. Somewhere I can hide. Somewhere safe I can hide my pride. I continue to run and fool myself. But I've come to the decision that I may need some help. It's bigger than me and it won't allow me to see. I'm blinded by my demon that lives inside me. And even though I sin, I ask Jesus in heaven to allow me to win. I know one day when I'm too tired to run, he'll show me a way so that I may get rest. I'm praying that he shows me before I die. I know that he hears me each night when I cry. Isolated and alone, I have no where to roam. I can't quite understand how I'm going to get fixed. At this point Lord, I'll do anything you ask. I have faith that you will heal me., but, when? And hurry God all you can. I grow weary waiting. I see the hell hounds again. . TBC
