Heavy soul
My eyes, a stormy sea Turbulent depths, where emotions be A world outside, that doesn't understand A soul within, that's lost its stand The waves crash strong, the winds do blow My heart is heavy, my spirit low I search for calm, in a world that's wide But like a ship, I'm tossed, and can't reside In this chaos, I find my voice A whisper crying, a heartfelt choice To let the world, see my pain And hope that someone, will hear my refrain The world outside, may not comprehend The turmoil within, that never ends But in my eyes, a story's told Of an upset soul, that's growing old.
