heartless and broken
heartless In shadows deep, where light dares not to tread, A girl once vibrant now walks among the dead. Her heart, once tender, bruised by countless lies, Has turned to stone beneath unyielding skies. Used and betrayed, her trust a shattered glass, She learned to guard the wounds of her past. Emotions buried, locked within her chest, Numbness now her shield, a harsh, unwelcome guest. Her laughter lost, replaced by bitter scorn, A soul once gentle now cruelly torn. Mean and heartless, cold as winter’s breath, She cares not for the pain nor for the death.
