heartbreak
In twilight's hush, where shadows play, Two hearts once danced, now drift away. Once whispered dreams in soft embrace, Now tangled truths we cannot face. A love once bright, now dulled and frayed, Foundations shaken, trust betrayed. The laughter echoes, faint and low, In memories' grip, we’ve lost the glow. You spun me tales like silken thread, Each "I love you" softly said. Yet hidden deep, like darkened skies, Were secret storms and bitter lies. The promises, like glass, now shatter, Each fragment sharp, the pieces scatter. In tear-streaked nights, the silence screams, Of shattered hopes and broken dreams. But through the pain, a seed will grow, Resilience blooms from heartache’s woe. With every tear that carves my face, I find my strength in empty space. So let the past fade with the light, I’ll learn to love, to hold on tight. For in the ashes of what’s been, A new day dawns, a chance begins. Though heartbreak’s cloak once wrapped me tight, I’ll rise anew, embrace the fight. For love was real, yet so was pain, In every loss, there’s much to gain.
