Heartbeat
From midnight whispers to petals in my hands The colors swim smoothly, no thrash To think I tried to run away To think I could forget To think I would find someone else Now, here I breathe easy wind Though my heart beats It feels stopped but not in fear Oh dear! Not in fear! It stops to listen and admire With such awe and curiosity I desire to be heard Heard I am! And all I wish is to return such kindess This world spins But with you, I find that it twirls When I miss you, I think of your pearls When I cry for you I am guided gently to sleep When I laugh with you I fly by your side Like birds, could we fly? My love, can we fly together?
