Heart Departure
Heart Departure Let my heart pour out the past; my bloodletting has been long. Painful stares of yesterday, crashing tides of memory. Let me bleed, crown my anemic limbs. Take me where I need to be. The skies conspire in their union with the crashing waves. I'm here in my emotional adolescence; growth is my expectation. Yet my wings are new to flying, and my hesitant heart wanders before departure.
