Healing through love
Growing up, I never knew a father's love, Bitterness and pain, like shadows, wove. In tears, I wished for someone true, To be vulnerable, to feel anew. Then, your whisper, a gentle grace, Brought peace to this once troubled place. Your love, a beacon in the night, Guiding me towards the light. Intimacy with you, my soul's desire, In your presence, I find my fire. You embrace my flaws, without dismay, In your love, I find my way. Though nature stole my earthly dad, In you, I find a love so rad. Your corrections, a sign of care, In your arms, I find solace rare. Abba, your love, beyond compare, In your tender care, I find repair. Words fail to express the depth within, But in your love, I find my kin. Father, I'm yours, forevermore, In your love, my heart does soar. Abba, Father, my endless delight, In your love, I find my might. Many times I felt like an orphan, Because I felt no one understood me. I was a locked up in my misery, Bitter and not sure of what the future held for me. I felt unsafe with so many questions, But the day you embraced me oh Abba, A hug was all I needed. To be continued....
