Healing , then hurt
I gave them love, I gave them share. They held their pain as if it was rare. And healed their wounds and dried each tear. I’m the one left drowning here, yet. I bore their guilt, their hurt became mine. I rebuilt them and built them up from ruins. And when they healed, when they shone. They left me standing all by myself. Why always me? I gave my all, Only to watch myself fall. Was I too much? Or not enough? Why is it always this rough love? Also, after all, when all is said. I had lost them—ghosts in my head. But maybe losing wasn’t fate, Or maybe I was supposed for something special.
