He-Storm
Some days the raindrops dance with joy in the mud, like a sweet destruction wiping out the thirst of the soil, slightly eroding it, removing parts of it that can never go back. Some days I thought of you as my sunshine, your brilliant smile, the miracle I wait for everyday, giving me warmth I could only borrow for a second. Most of the days, you are that cold breeze in the night while all the dead stars are staring blankly at me, punishing me for the love I called “my sweetest sin”. Today, you are the storm itself. I am the soil where your angry raindrops fall. Today is not like the other days. My thirst wasn’t quenched. All parts of me are gone… except for the memory of your smile. ©reddragonfly
