We shared secrets, dreams, and tears, Through the highs and lows, we conquered fears. But time can change hearts, I now understand, Leaving me here, all alone with no one by my side, A bond once unbreakable, now drenched in tears. Oh, how I miss the way we used to be, A piece of my soul gone, lost with you, We laughed till our sides hurt, we shared our pain, Through thick and thin, we weathered every strain. But something shifted, like a fault line beneath, And now I'm left here, drowning in disbelief. We promised forever, through sunshine and rain, But life's unpredictable, and people can change. The void you left behind, a chasm so wide, In this brokenness, I search for peace inside. I still remember the laughter we shared, The late-night talks, how much we cared. But somewhere along the road, we lost our way, Leaving me here, with memories that hurts Though you're gone, I'll hold onto what we had, The lessons learned, the good times, and the bad. In this brokenness, I'll learn to heal and grow, And cherish the memories of a friendship long ago.
