He Found Me
I did not find God—He found me, In the quiet of a dream’s decree. With hands of light, so pure, so kind, He touched my heart and healed my mind. His mercy flowed, His love shone bright, He led me from the depths of night. He showed me grace, He gave me peace, And in that moment, fear released. All I had prayed for, longed to see, He gave in love, abundantly. I left behind what kept me blind— The worldly chains that bound my mind. I took my cross, I took my stand, And followed Him with steady hand. For all my days, through joy and pain, I'll walk His path, I'll praise His name. No longer lost, no longer torn, In His embrace, I am reborn. Through every storm, through every trial, His love sustains me, mile by mile. The burdens lift, the chains release, In Him alone, I find my peace. I'll follow Him wherever He calls, For in His light, I stand tall. Each step I take, He walks beside, With Him, no distance can divide. And when the world has lost its way, His love will guide me, night and day. Forevermore, I'll seek His face, And rest within His boundless grace. For I did not find God—He found me, And in His love, I am truly free.
