Haunted Then, and Now
Haunted You said to me, "keep your enemies close" all the while I was the enemy you referred to. I had hauntings I was still walking through, then you came and made me your muse. Frustrative anger you took out on a woman who had nothing to do but be there for you. Bone to bone, flesh to flesh, soul to soul- I know I still move in you. That encounter will never cease. Haunted then and still, I suppose I'll add you to my collection of ghosts. I had armor, and here I stand, still arming it. You gave your enemy a ring, how deceptive of you. My dear don't toil in the night, for the night is what I shall hold, forevermore. Cease to me, "framed "Love"."
