HAUNTED BY THE GHOST OF YOU.
The shadows of my past have come to stay, Nothing I do nor I say can make them go away. Your memory, like a ghost that lingers still, Haunts my heart and soul against my will. The echoes of your voice still remain, Reminding me of the love that I can never regain. The touch of your hand, the smell of your clothes, Leaves me feeling empty, left to be disposed. The places we visited, the things we shared, Now fill my heart with sadness and despair, For even though you are gone, your ghost remains, Haunting me with memories that bring me pain. I try to move on, try to leave you behind, But in my dreams, it's you I still find. Your face, your smile, your laughter still alive, Haunting me all day and all night.
