Hate in Disguise
A burning flame inside my head, It spreads so fast, a fever fed. A heat that keeps me living—not dead. "Are you angry?"—that’s what they said. I keep on smiling, though it’s fake, It never stops—for heaven’s sake! Not even an hour’s break I take, Just one glance at his face—that’s all it takes. A voice that grates against my ear, Pierces sharp, like a thrusting spear. Still I keep my distance—far or near, Bound together on this living sphere.
