Hate
Hate Such a strong word But an even stronger feeling I know cause I feel it every day I feel it more than love It consumes me Ravages upon my mind Distorts people and memories It distorts me I don't know who I am Then again, who would I be without hate? Hate is a parasite who clings for life At the beginning, it's a foreign part of you You don't think it's you But with time, you merge with it It becomes you You become it Till you can't bear to be around others Till it's not just other people you hate Till you hate yourself But the worst part is how to get rid of it Cause there's only one solution Love But love is temporary Hate is permanent So in the end There is no saving There is no cure It grows Until it consumes you But hate doesn't stop at you It's not that merciful Cause hate is contagious Hate is power And once it strips you of your own It gives it to your family and loved ones To use it against you Until they leave you cause of their own hate in their hearts that grows like mold When you're left with only yourself and resentment That's only when hate will stop But not to leave But to stay with you forever It'll bury itself right in your heart To make you hate even more
