Hate
People say hate is a strong word But that is how I describe my feelings toward you now And maybe I should listen to what they say But you struck me with your sword Watched as red dripped down to the floor I'm so glad I could make it out I could forget you and open a new door Because now when I hear your name Instead of seeing the words on the bear you gave me I see hate Hate for the long days we would spend together Hate for the songs we would sing together Hate for the ring on your finger Hate for the feelings that linger And yeah, maybe hate is a strong word But if I had listened to what they all said The red would've followed me out the door Would've sucked me into your floor If I listened It would've been too late to hate I'm so glad I decided to hit ignore As now I can scream and roar the forbidden word The only word that truly describes you Hate The only only word that can define you Hate The only word that comes to mind Hate Because deep down I really do hate you
