happy time
The dark void consuming my chest, My heart no longer beating in rhyme, It aches and longs for her, Our time was a happy time. Just shy of a decade of laughter, Before being struck down in her prime. Shock, stand-still, horror, pain, Longing for that happy time. Smoking, chilling, berating Tories, Drinking gin with lime, Cuddles, TV, shopping, noodles, Dreaming of that happy time. A heart made of gold, didn't get to grow old, She really was sublime. Made me feel so calm, protected me from harm. Clinging to that happy time. Soulmates forever, deep connection, I was hers and she was mine. So many fond memories, absolute besties. I will forever cherish our happy time
