Happy Birthday To Me
Today it marks the day A marking of when i came to Earth When i first saw the world Once i was given birth Years that floated Popping like bubbles Who would've guessed It would dive in so many fumbles One day a small, innocent child Now that i'm grown I'll slowly be pushed Into a new world of down Inside, i still feel small But my physical doesn't say the same Makes me look tall, capable It's so lame I wanted to let it out My thoughts and insecurities Yet, no one would understand Just call such my "inpurities" The more it goes on Makes me want to hold more tight I'm still on the floor Not ready to take flight There's so much i want to know To give, to impress The only things people will see Is what they think is "success" Each year It's always the same Feels bad But there's no one else than me to blame Slowly descending deeper and deeper I can't stop but pray That it might not be so bad That hope could perhaps stay Staying on this bed I shall enjoy my rest Don't want anyone here To mess with me and my nest Happy birthday Birthday to me There won't be any gifts Only fear i won't please
