You said you want me happy That night I made a silent promise That you would only see me happy Even if I have to fake it I will learn how to smile from you I will learn how to laugh because of you Because if Seeing my half grimace of a smile makes you happy Then I'm happy I will learn how to be happy even if I have to fake it But one thing I realized Is I don't have to fake being happy around you I have a smile on my face everytime you're near My laughs are genuine My giggles aren't for show You make me happy Without faking it You only see me happy because of it
